IF what I teach is helpful, THEN whatever it has taken to follow my Brother, and want only to love God, has been worth it!

Now, about abortion:

There is a lot here we could spend time on, but for now, I am going to give you a simple, if not shocking answer:

NOTHING happens,

except (as with all of life)

what you MOST WANT to experience,

revealing what you already believe

about yourself, Reality, and God.

At one level, abortion 'hurts' the host body, for a short time. It does NOTHING to any other being. The real pain is far more mental/emotional. It can deepen guilt already present, of course.

And given the insane and judgmental attitudes prevalent in humanity, rather than the presence of of love, nurturing, and respect for a woman to be sovereign over her own body and health, and the capacity to care for a new human for the next 25 years, it is little wonder that guilt and shame arise and are reinforced.

As with all things, events activate our deeply held fears, beliefs, etc, but we rarely use them to stop and actually question them! Thus, we miss the opportunity to grow in wisdom, love, and peace.

There is a lot of 'metaphysical', as well as religious flotsam out there around this issue, precisely because it is about the BODY, and our desperate identity with them!

No, a child is not 'murdered'. (By definition, a human being is one because the bodymind can sustain its existence outside the mothers body). There is NO person, only a budding possibility.

No, a 'soul' is not disrupted in any way. The soul aspect often does not fully fuse with the body until well after the first trimester, and sometimes not until after birth.

What matters is:

are we supporting the living soul

who must make an often difficult choice?

How are we responding:

with love, or judgement?

Abortion is a non issue, because NO ONE has a single right to usurp the sovereignty of a woman over her own body and life. NO ONE is capable of deciding FOR her, or imposing views. Doing so simply perpetuates the sickness of the world mind to begin with.
