How do you know if you are truly being guided?

There is perhaps no more important question that comes up for ALL of us, as we seek to end our pain, become of service, etc, than the question of:

'How do I learn to discern the 'voice' of Gods guidance from my own 'voice' (habits of persona perceptions, fears, and especially that 'chattering monkey' in the brain mind that I have unwittingly believed IS both 'me' AND my 'best friend', the thing i always believe and follow, immediately, without ever questioning it).

Whenever I am asked about this, first, I know the soul asking about it is struggling, is at an important transformational edge, and understand all that comes with it. There is no better reply to give than the description Jeshua gives us. If we take it to heart, reflect upon it, and - above all - practice!  gradually a new discernment does occur, as the two voices (impersonal Love as Soul, and the substitute ego that can only come from and give guidance from fear and the personal [my ego agenda/desire for pleasure, etc].

I like to think of an eclipse.

Darkness covers the sun. But gradually, as evolution happens, the light begins to emerge at the edges. We get glimmers, but, MOST of the light is still veiled in darkness....

With patience (simple daily practice) the light and the dark separate more and more...we really do come to see for ourselves in growing, startling clarity the very real difference between Ego/persona/learned patterns and the freedom, Love, and Wholeness of Spirit. We come to shift our 'center of identity', along with our 'dedicated devotion' from Ego/Fear's voice to that of the 'Holy Spirit' (the Whole Spirit.) Finally, we don't even talk about the 'holy spirit within us', for it makes no sense! We come to see that the Whole Spirit IS us, and we forgot! We made a substitute for it, worshiped it, and en-grained the habit of it so deeply, our very Identity BECAME it. Thank, God, we were always wrong about this!!!!!

Eventually, the growing Light dissolves the darkness entirely, and we 'live, move, and have our Being' in, as, and for, this Whole Spirit.

There are deeper revelations that will come, but they find their basis in the FIRST steps.

Being willing to desire a 'voice not my own', and then, learning to actually follow it!!!!! (Quit my job? Gulp. Okay!!)

We are extracting ourselves from a false identity with fear itself, which by the way, WILL be, fearful!!!!

Finally, we enter Deep Revelation:  I AM the Whole Spirit.

And, finally, we see, as the darkness of the dream of separation vanishes in Light, There is Only God. And its the most natural of the most natural. No Big Deal.

The value of what Jeshua shares with us here is indispensable, priceless, AND utterly necessary for us to integrate into our moments of what we (mistakenly believe) is 'my' life.

After all, we can only begin where are: lost in the dream of a separate self, identified as Body, devoted to its chattering brain-mind/ego construct. But, if we are willing...and translate that into actual practice, the door opens to real freedom, peace, and illumination.
